Gold Systems, Inc. was recently awarded the bid to provide analysis services to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Registry of Vital Records and Statistics (RVRS). Gold Systems has been asked to provide a review of existing eVITALS-EBR business requirements documents in order to determine high level use cases and drill down to detailed uses cases, leading towards revised business requirements to support core, common, Registry of Vital Records and Statistics and birth components of the Electronic Birth Registration (EBR) system. Gold Systems has been supporting state vital statistics efforts since 1990. For the past 14 years, we have worked with various vital registry agencies to develop a custom software solution for managing birth, death, fetal death, ITOP, marriage and divorce vital events. The project began in August 2008 and is slated for completion by mid-September 2008. The artifacts resulting from this effort will be used to identify the requirements for an electronic RVRS system.
